CMS has released the FY 2027 Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Proposed Rule, outlining a new set of updates that will impact payment, quality reporting, value-based purchasing and data submission requirements. 

As with prior years, these changes extend beyond policy language and will directly influence how facilities are evaluated, reported and reimbursed.
