CMS recently announced a new report as part of the SNF Validation Program, set to become available via iQIES in fall 2025.

This audit-driven report is designed to evaluate the accuracy of MDS-based quality measures used in the SNF Value-Based Purchasing (VBP) and Quality Reporting Programs (QRP).

The stakes are significant: facilities found noncompliant may face up to a 2% reduction in Medicare reimbursement.
